    Reporting to HSE Coordinator, the Training Administrator will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders across the business to understand and bring forward training and development needs, as well as tracking and reporting requirements. The individual will also be responsible for promotion of the HSE training programs and standards, coordinating the delivery of classroom and online learning activities including course registration, learner support, logistics, analysis of course evaluation, etc.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Provide accurate and timely record keeping related to training and development
    • Engage in the research and delivery of customized training solutions and development of positional training standards
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts within various business areas leading initiatives to review and modify course content to meet business, regulatory and regional requirements
    • Oversee the assessment and analysis of required training to verify compliance across the various Clark Builders business regions
    • Arrange delivery, assessment and follow up of a variety of training programs and workshops delivered on-line, in-house and through third party vendors
    • Manage project level and overhead billing for all training
    • Oversee training data collection of both new and existing employees to ensure accuracy, consistency and timely entry of training documents into tracking database
    • Create and monitor reports as required by key stakeholders within the business
    • Work closely with administrative teams ensuring room setup, resources and catering available for various internal and external workshops
    • Update and maintain repository of content and resource library
    • Prepare and present training status updates as required
    • Proactively models and maintains effective working relationships and communications with peers, management, staff in other Company departments, and client representatives. Models effective conflict resolution skills and effectively resolves any conflicts in a timely and respectful manner to achieve positive and healthy working relationships and workplace environment
    • Proactively promotes through example a safe work ethic, attitude, and workplace. Monitors all employees' compliance with all safety policies, standards, and procedures to achieve a safe work environment
    • Maintains confidentiality to comply with all regulatory requirements and Company Privacy and Confidentiality policies and procedures

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Access, SharePoint
    • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
    • Understanding of process development and standardization
    • Knowledge/awareness of construction industry standards
    • Attentiveness to details and ability to manage a diverse workload within a fast-paced environment with changing multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality to comply with all regulatory requirements and Company Privacy and Confidentiality policies and procedures
    • Exposure or understanding of principles of lean thinking
    • Experience with coaching teams in collaborative planning
    • Experience with continues improvement

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • High School Diploma is required
    • 3 to 5 years of applied learning/training and development experience in the construction industry
